Dilly the Dinosaur

As promised, I'm posting more of the crafts I've been plugging away at lately. Above is my very first softie, a friendly dinosaur I'm calling Dilly. He's a gift for one of my favorite little buddies, Jared, who recently turned 3. I'm a little late with the gift (I know), but I'm sure Jared won't mind. He's into all things dinosaur lately, so I'm hoping he'll love Dilly and all his silly ways.

I also used HeatnBond to attach a "J" to a canvas tote bag...perfect for hauling crayons, books, a blankie, and (hopefully) Dilly to and from Grandma's. The fabric that I used for the "J" is the same fabric I used for the back of Dilly's body. All in all, I think the gifts turned out pretty cute.

Coming up next, Olive the Owl...
